Principal's Message
Welcome to Long Beach Elementary School!
Long Beach is a school that accepts everyone. Our kind and caring school community encourages all families to be involved; this is truly a place where everyone belongs.
I joined the SD 308 family in 2004; before coming to Long Beach, I served as an assistant principal at Traughber Junior High School and Bednarcik Junior High School, as well as the principal at Hunt Club Elementary School. Prior to my time in our district, I served as a math teacher at West Chicago Middle School and Winfield Middle School. (Fun fact: my last two years in Winfield, I was half math teacher, half assistant principal!)
We thrive at Long Beach in supporting all of our students in every way that we can. We encourage student participation and are continually creating new opportunities for students. Our caring staff members make our school special!
At the end of the day, I hope every student takes the lessons that they have learned at Long Beach to make themselves better, to make their families proud of them, and to support our community so that everyone recognizes, "That is a Long Beach student"!
